1. The service

Shofero provides (a) a marketplace where homeowners describe a project and receive an estimated price range and, if they proceed, an introduction to a local professional, and (b) a subscription CRM for contractors covering customers, jobs, scheduling, estimates, invoices, payments and related tools.

2. Estimates are not binding quotes

Price ranges shown in the marketplace and figures produced by our AI tools are estimates generated from typical job data. They are not offers, guarantees or final prices. The final price is set in a written quote agreed between you and the professional performing the work.

3. We are not the contractor

Shofero is not a licensed contractor and does not perform home services. Work is performed by independent businesses that are solely responsible for their licensing, insurance, workmanship, timelines, warranties and compliance with local law. Any contract for the work is between you and that business. We screen for basic credentials where we say we do, but we do not guarantee the quality or outcome of any job. Verify licensing and insurance before work begins.

4. Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a contract.
• Give accurate information and keep your credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for activity in your workspace, including your team members.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method for the plan fee plus applicable taxes. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice, effective at your next renewal. Cancel at any time in your workspace billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

6. Your content and data

You keep ownership of the content and business records you upload. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and display that content solely to operate the service. You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload, including photos, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

7. Acceptable use

• No unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, defamatory or infringing activity or content.
• No scraping, reverse engineering, or attempts to break security or access controls.
• No misrepresenting your licensing, insurance, identity or reviews.
• No uploading malware or interfering with the service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

8. AI features

AI-generated text, summaries and pricing suggestions may be incomplete or wrong. Review them before relying on or sending them. You remain responsible for anything you send to customers, and for legal, tax or financial decisions made using our tools. Shofero is not an accountant, lawyer or payroll provider.

9. Third-party services

Payment, accounting, payroll and mapping integrations are operated by third parties under their own terms. We are not responsible for their services.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some states do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shofero is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$100. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Shofero, Inc. against claims arising from your content, your use of the service, your work performed for customers, or your breach of these terms.

13. Disputes and governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, contact us at legal@shofero.com so we can try to resolve it informally. Unless you and we agree otherwise in writing, disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

14. Changes and contact
