Refund Policy

Last updated: September 6, 2026

This policy covers Shofero subscription payments. It does not cover money you pay a contractor for work.

1. Free plan and trials

The Starter plan is free. Where a trial is offered, you are not charged until the trial ends. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing.

2. Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel at any time from your workspace billing settings. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. You keep access until then.

3. Refunds we give

  • 14-day first purchase: if you are unhappy with your first paid month, email us within 14 days of that charge for a full refund.
  • Accidental renewal: if you were charged for a renewal you did not intend and have not meaningfully used the plan in that period, contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it.
  • Duplicate or incorrect charges: refunded in full whenever they happen.
  • Extended outage: if the service is unavailable for a prolonged period through our fault, we will credit or refund the affected time.

4. Refunds we generally do not give

  • Partial periods after a mid-cycle cancellation.
  • Periods where the plan was actively used, outside the cases above.
  • Accounts terminated for breaking our Terms & Conditions.
  • Third-party fees, such as payment processing or payroll provider charges.

5. Payments for contractor work

Money you pay a professional for a job is between you and that business, under their own cancellation and warranty terms. Shofero is not a party to that contract and does not refund it. If a payment was processed through Shofero and something goes wrong, contact us and we will help you raise it with the contractor.

6. How to request a refund

Email support@shofero.com from your account email with the charge date and amount. We respond within 5 business days, and approved refunds return to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

This policy does not limit rights you have under applicable state consumer protection law.
